"Naples has Great Weather"

"My goal now is to have the finest Catholic university and law school in the world. We were going to move the campus to Domino's Farms, but we couldn't persuade the township to buy the idea of a university here. So I prayed about it a lot, and my answer was to put it in the Naples, Fla., area. I'd vacationed there many times and enjoyed it. Naples has great weather, and there are few Catholic universities in Florida, or even in the Southeast. We have an interim campus down there now, and the permanent campus will open in 2006 with architecture in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright. The main chapel on campus will have the largest seating capacity of any Catholic church in the U.S." link here, Fortune Small Business

Great Weather. Great, indeed.

May God spare those living there from harm from this storm.

Am I reading something wrong here? The AMU website states:

...for students remaining on campus, gentlemen will report to Stella Maris at 11 p.m. to ride out the storm together. All women will report to their rooms no later than midnight. Students will remain at these locations until the storm passes in the morning.

So, the gentlemen hole up together at Star of the Sea while the women have to go to their rooms and wait out the storm by themselves? Doesn't sound gentlemanly...

Revisting that link is now a whitewashed news release.

Reports on campus status.

Perhaps they realized in hindsight how stupid that emergency response plan was -- sounds like they used the same method of proficiency employed in the US Ed program.

hope you got an image of the page while it existed.
